PROJECT DESCRIPTION — In the beautiful landscape of the Danish West Coast, nestled among the dunes of the Wadden Sea, a summerhouse designed by Baks Architects blends seamlessly with its natural surroundings. The design blurs the line between indoors and outdoors, where the sound of the sea and the texture of the dunes are brought into the heart of the home. Søuld’s Acoustic Boards FR, made from locally sourced eelgrass, enhance the calm and serenity of the space.

The tactility of Dinesen wood floors and the soft tones of the eelgrass create a harmonious and comfortable acoustic interior. The homeowner says, “We did not want to compromise on the acoustics of the house. With Søuld, we were able to bring nature indoors and achieve high acoustic comfort, while the colours and textures of the wood and eelgrass complement each other beautifully.”
